The Origin of the Project

The restoration of the Torre Pietra fortress house was born from a dream and a clear vision: that of Dino Ronchietto and Iailsa Tapparo. In 2018, with the acquisition of the tower adjacent to the family farmhouse, a long journey of research and design began.

The goal was not only to consolidate the structure, but to give new life to a building that had dominated the valley for centuries. Construction, which began in 2024, represents the culmination of years of careful planning and respect for the historical context.

Intervention Details

Despite the loss of the original wooden floors and the critical condition of the roof, the conservation restoration made it possible to preserve the structure. Unique architectural elements such as stone portals, monolithic window blocks, and defensive loopholes were enhanced.
